EWING: Prospect Heights Fire Co shared the following information: All 3 Ewing fire companies dispatched to “smoke in the area” possibly around Jack Stephen Way by the airport. Investigation found a 30 yard dumpster in the far rear of Ewing Church Cemetery off of Scotch Road. The dumpster was fully packed with a variety of combustibles. Squrt 31 was supplied with multiple tanks of water by Squad 30 and Engine 33. Close to 10,000 gallons of water was used to finally put this out.
