BRICK: K9 Lenin of the Bayton Police Department, Texas died in the line of duty on Thursday, March 9th, 2023. K9 Lenin was an Explosives Ordinace Detection canine and was credited with locating numerous firearms and shell casings during evidence searches.

K9 Lenin was two years old and served on the force for seven months.

Morgan Blann who is a member of Running 4 Heroes INC. ran a mile in his honor accompanied by Brick Police, Brick Fire Department and The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office.
