The #MCSONJ’s Inmate Labor detail recently assisted at the Grover Burial Ground in Middletown, where they cleared debris, brush, and help maintained the grounds. The crew did such a good that afterwards the Middletown Community Affairs Council noticed there were four additional headstones buried among the overgrown landscape. As a result of this discovery, the council is researching the identity of those buried so they can be remembered and respected properly.

The Inmate Labor Program run through the MCSO Corrections Division is a valuable resource and cost savings to communities.
