ELIZABETH: The Elizabeth Fire Officers IAFF local 2040 shared the following information on a blaze that tore through five homes on Easter: Tour #3 battled a 5-alarm blaze on Easter Sunday located on the 100 block of Jacques St. Companies arrived to find a vacant 2.5 story wood frame fully involved on all floors with extension to the exposures on both sides. The fire extended to 5 homes and caused a collapse in 2 buildings. No civilians were injured, two firefighters went to the hospital with injuries.
