BRICK: Firefighters from Brick, Point Pleasant Boro, Point Pleasant Beach, Silverton, and New Jersey Forest Fire Service we’re called to a large brush fire in Brick Township today. The fire started around 1:00 this afternoon and no injuries have been reported. As of 5:30 this afternoon firefighters were still on scene putting out hot spots. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
