SOUTH AMBOY: Today all South Amboy Fire companies responded to a working house fire on Ridgeway Avenue. Upon arrival units found a fully involved house. Mutual Aid Fire companies from Melrose, Morgan, Matawan and Hopelawn came and assisted. Fire was quickly knocked down but stubborn hot spots continued for a while. 1 reported injury. Transported by Woodbridge EMS and HM ALS. SouthAmboy First Aid Squad provided firefighter rehab at the scene. Cause of fire under investigation by SAPD and Middlesex County Fire Marshal
