SAYREVILLE: An unidentified man died this afternoon after jumping off the southbound side of the Driscoll Bridge this afternoon. Police were dispatched to the bridge around 12:30. A fishing boat saw the man jump and his body floating in the water. Perth Amboy Marine Division recovered his body and brought him to land where first responders performed CPR. Upon arrival Police saw the victims car with empty pill bottles, and pills scattered in the car. The cars registration came back to the victim that was recovered. The victim was transported to the Raritan Bay Medical Center where was was pronounced deceased.
