SAYERVILLE: State police are responding to a man that jumped off the South side of the Driscoll Bridge. A fisherman called in reporting he sees the man’s body. The man’s car is still parked on the bridge. Police have found empty bottles of Trazadone, and pills in the car. Police, Fire, and EMS are responding to the scene.

Perth Amboy Marine Division has recovered the body, and is bringing him to where the Cornucopia is. Police are requesting medics. CPR is being performed on the victim in hopes to save his life. Police have confirmed the registered owner of the vehicle is the victim. Police are at the residence talking to family now. The victim is on his way to the hospital as medics perform CPR.
