Two Arrested For Dealing Drugs Out of Camper in Beachwood

BEACHWOOD: The Beachwood Police Department Detective Bureau conducted an investigation into the distribution of narcotics at 84 Birch Street. The investigation identified residents to be distributing narcotics from the residence and a “Wildwood” camper parked on the property. On May 1st, 2023, a court-authorized search warrant was executed at 84 Birch Street by members of the Beachwood Police Department with the assistance of the Ocean County Regional SWAT team. As a result, Timothy Claus, 53, was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, and Florio Rasoilo, 54, were found to be in possession of Oxycodone pills.

Timothy Claus was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession/Distribution within 500 feet of a public park. He was transported to the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing. Florio Rasoilo was
charged with possession without a lawful prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rasoilo was served with a summons complaint and released. The ‘Wildwood’ camper was
seized pending forfeiture.

The Beachwood Police Department would like to thank the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and Ocean County Regional SWAT for their assistance with this
investigation.

The charges referenced above are merely accusations, and the press and public are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
