TOMS RIVER: Police are currently investigating an inappropriate conduct allegation with a staff member at Toms River Intermediate North. Intermediate North has students from 6th-8th grade. In a notice sent to parents Superintendent Michael Citra said the following.
“Toms River Schools administration and my office have been made aware of the allegations of inappropriate behavior and conduct from an employee. The employee was immediately removed from the school, and information was turned over to law enforcement for investigation.
This is an active investigation, and any and all questions or information pertaining to it should be directed to law enforcement as procedure and protocol dictate, specifically to Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office which can be reached at 732-929-2027, or the Toms River Police Department at 732-349-0150.
