TOMS RIVER: Police say a 56 year old man from Bayville was killed in a crash on Parkway South yesterday afternoon. David Mello Jr., was driving a Berkeley Township Peterbilt 320 when he crashed into numerous trees and was ejected. He suffered fatal injuries on the scene. Traffic was backed up over 20 miles as crews cleared up the scene. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to talk to them. The crash is currently under investigation.
