NEPTUNE: A young female out with friends is lucky to be alive after a horrific experience. The girl was drugged at Porta in Asbury Park, and found to have Rohypnol in her system. The drug is a benzodiazepines, and not approved by the FDA in the United States.

“Rohypnol produces sedative-hypnotic, anti-anxiety, and muscle relaxant effects. This drug has never been approved for medical use in the United States by the Food and Drug Administration. Outside the United States, Rohypnol® is commonly prescribed to treat insomnia.” According to the DEA website.

According to the victims family the doctors told them this is very common out of clubs, and bars in Asbury Park. As always please remain vigilant.

    The same thing happened to my daughter in May 2023 in the afternoon!!She had one drink with food and immediately she was I’ll and in a paralyzed state!!!She went to the ER and the Dr treated her like she was crazy,thankfully the female nurses who are moms themselves treated her with compassion.They only would test for marajuana cocaine which obviously came back negative ,They gave her an Iv discharged her and on her paperwork the reason said she came in for weakness which was a total lie..She specified that she had been drugged at Porta!!This place needs to be shut down !!!Why didn’t she get tested for other drugs ??Do you have to be unresponsive for them to do further testing ??I pray for all the girls out there and especially the girl in this article that she heals fast,It’s very traumatized and now my is petrified to have drinks out.

      Porta allows people who have assaulted others in the establishment back in, so I would not be surprised.

      Happened to my daughter 2 years ago also at Porta. Hospital treated and released her like she was dehydrated and sent us on our way. Just terrible.

    THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! Been drugging people for years and it’s mostly the bar tenders.

    I think the police should be investigating this with under cover operatives.
    Anyone with Knowledge of this could always send a list of names to the detectives office or make an anonymous post with the names of the perps.
    We all have to stop this crap.
    This chicks going to die.

      It probably is the police drugging young girls. That’s why they refuse to investigate. Everything at this club is on video.

    This happened to me years ago. I had two drinks and all of a sudden I couldn’t even walk. My legs were not working. My friend got me home safely.

    This happened to me in October at porta and I only had 3 drinks from the same bar at Porta. When I told a friend she disclosed a friend of hers experienced the same thing the week prior . Then ANOTHER friend said the same thing about a friend of hers but the day before my incident. This happens ALL the time there and it’s brushed off like it’s not an alarming issue. I’ve been going out in asbury for years and Porta is the ONLY place I ever hear stories like this from.

    Bar should be closed down immediately until they figure out who is doing this. Somebody knows something and there has to be security footage to review. Very alarming that this has happened multiple times before and that they still haven’t found the sicko that doing this.

    This happened to my friends little brother! The bouncers dragged his lifeless body around the corner and lined him and 5 other people laying down along some grass on the next block. We called the police after seeing so many bodies lined up all passed out and the officers acted like this is a regular thing porta bouncers do! They try to avoid taking any blame!! Porta needs to be shut down or lose their liquor license! This has been going on far too long. Someone is going to die.

    Porta need to be closed down once again. They don’t have the 4th owner on for nothing something weird going on here. They set up my gay friend n put drugs in his jacket to get him in trouble. N he did this club is homophobic and careless.

    I understand there was or is a two man team. One being the bartender and the other is a brother or cousin of the bartender who carries out these crimes.
