PERTH AMBOY: At approximately 8:00 Monday morning first responders pulled a body out of the Raritan River near the Driscoll Bridge. The victim was found by Perth Amboy Fire Department; and taken to Raritan Bay Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead. Sources tell JCEN that the victim jumped off the bridge to take their life. Police are working to confirm the identity of the victim. We will update as we get additional information.
