BRICK: A 13 year old boy is being transferred out of Brick schools this week after a traumatizing experience while fishing at Lake Riveria Park. The boy who we will leave unnamed is a honor roll student at Lake Riveria Middle School, a rising football star, and has been bullied for years. “This all started when a bully poured ketchup over my sons lunchbox, and called him, and his mother fat.” Said the boys father Roderick Carter. “His mother and I went to the school numerous times to report the bullying. It got so bad that it turned physical, then they suspended my son!” Dusting a suspension the bullying became cyber bullying with threatening messages, and name calling. When he went back to school the bullying continued on. Over the summer the boy had no issues, but as soon as school started up they began bullying him again.
Last week the boy was fishing by himself at Lake Riveria Park. Approximately twenty teenage boys including the bullies surrounded him on the fishing dock. “They threw his $100 fishing pole in the lake and they threatened to drown him in the lake.” The boys dad said. “They grabbed him by the shirt, roughed him up, and forced him to his knees, where they made him call the bully’s “daddy,” and rub his nipples, all while they inappropriately touched him.”
Video of the incident was working it’s way through Lake Riveria Middle School, and both Brick Township, and Brick Memorial High Schools. “One of the bully’s who made him do this was a high school student, and the son of a Brick Township Police Officer.” The dad told JCEN “When I approached one of the fathers I was told nothing will be done because his fathers a police officer in Brick. So I confronted the father o who is in fact a Brick Police Officer, and he told me that my baby would never do that. He was in complete denial.” The family went to Brick Township Police Department where they say nothing was done. They also went to the school and they are “brushing it under the rug.” “The kids are still in school. Nothing happened to them. I can’t send my son to school; yet these kids get to harass other students at the school.” The father said the boys are very known to school counselors as they’ve been nothing but trouble in the past. “We have laws in place to protect our kids, and nobody’s protecting my son. My son could have died.” The boy has since been getting messages asking “Did you get raped.” The father plans on creating a protest outside the school. “We don’t need another student to commit suicide. My kids looked at me as if I was their superhero, and I’ll live up to being their superhero.” The boys father is asking if anyone sees the video on their child’s phone to please send it to him. The family plans on hiring an attorney.

One of numerous messages the boy’s received since he was sexually assaulted at Lake Riveria Park.
